Overview

Integration Access Management in Portkey enables Organization administrators to control whether workspace managers can create, update, and delete integrations, MCP integrations, and MCP servers within their workspaces. Organization owners and admins always retain full access.

Accessing Integration Management

  1. Navigate to Admin Settings in the Portkey dashboard
  2. Select the Security tab from the left sidebar
  3. Locate the Integration Management section

Permission Settings

The Integration Management section provides three permission options:
PermissionDescription
Managers Write Workspace IntegrationsAllow workspace managers to create, update, and delete AI integrations within their workspace
Managers Write MCP IntegrationsAllow workspace managers to create, update, and delete MCP integrations within their workspace
Managers Write MCP ServersAllow workspace managers to create, update, and delete MCP servers within their workspace
All permissions are enabled by default.
Organization Owners and Admins always have full access to integrations regardless of these settings.

Workspace-Level Overrides

Integration access permissions support workspace-level overrides, allowing you to configure different settings per workspace. When workspace-level overrides are enabled:
  • Each workspace can have its own managersWriteWsIntegrations, managersWriteWsMcpIntegrations, and managersWriteMcpServers settings
  • Workspace settings take precedence over organization-level settings
To configure workspace-level overrides:
  1. Enable the Allow workspace-level configuration toggle for the relevant integration type in the Security settings
  2. Navigate to the specific workspace settings to configure per-workspace access
